100V Boost Converter and Drive

Triad Semiconductor’s TS8004 is a highly integrated multistage High Voltage DC-DC Boost + Driver Output IC. It combines two inductor-based boost converter stages with a low impedance H-bridge output. The boost converters are capable of generating up to 48V / 38mA from a 3.6V nominal input (lithium ion battery) or 100V / 18mA from a 5V nominal supply (USB). A SPI interface is provided for device configuration and current monitor ADC output. The TS8004 provides a complete mixed-signal interface solution for multiple application modes and the next generation of small sensor form factors.

The TS8004 is available in a small 32-lead QFN package (5mm x 5mm, 0.5mm pitch). The device operates from a +2.8V to +5.5V supply input and is specified over a -25C to +85C operating temperature range.
