The components in an electronic design are represented in a Bill of Materials (BOM). The BOM identifies such information as: the reference number of the component on the schematic, manufacturer’s part number, a description of the device, package time, component cost, etc.The BOM is used to direct component ordering for prototype builds and for production.

Our customers use Triad’s ASIC integration to replace a PCB require a large BOM of discrete components with a single ASIC component. This reduction in component count leads to significant savings in: BOM cost, manufacturing costs, procurement and storage costs, improves reliability and reduces warranty costs.
